The instructor was extremely supportive, provided multiple ways of saying things in Spanish and used her broad knowledge, along with the Transparent Language Online lessons to help us dive deeper. I feel much more comfortable with speaking Spanish in the library.

I really enjoyed the live class! It's helpful having someone there to directly ask a question, or help correct pronunciation on the spot. I enjoyed practicing using our actual phone numbers, or job positions - things that will actually be applicable in the future.

Wendy was a great instructor. I liked the small focused class size. I appreciated the activities where we looked over an illustration of a library and practiced vocabulary for different items and persons in the picture. I think these lessons would even be useful for bilingual library staff so they can learn some of the more technical library language and vocabulary.

The class was a great introduction to Spanish in the library. The instructor was very interactive and explained a lot. I like that she had everyone participate and practice speaking. She would also note things in the chat that helped with pronunciation or other phrases to use. It was good to do the Transparent Language Online lessons before the class so you could be prepared. If you were brand new to Spanish, doing the lesson online before the class would be a must.
