American Sign Language Course for Librarians

If you’re a librarian hoping to better serve Deaf and hard of hearing patrons, the Survival ASL for Librarians Course is for you.

In 15 hours, you’ll be able to:

Fingerspell your name and unknown signs using the manual alphabet

Sign common library services like books, digital materials, and internet

Greet patrons and show them around the library

Communicate about finding, checking out, and returning materials
