Live Panel: ESOL Tutoring at Your Library

What will I learn?

Your library is on the front lines of supporting English language learners in your community.

But your community has many different English needs. How can you meet as many as possible?

ESOL tutoring!

A panel of public library professionals is gathering to share their expertise offering various ESOL tutoring programs.

Join us to get answers to your questions about providing English tutoring, including:

  • Where can I find volunteer tutors?
  • What kind of training do they need to tutor? (Or do they need training?!)
  • How do I make a good match between tutor and learner?
  • Should I run sessions at the library or virtually? (Or both?)
  • What materials do tutors need?
  • Is it possible to run group ESOL tutoring?

All libraries all welcome, whether you subscribe to Transparent Language Online or not. 🙂
