Live Panel: Supporting New Canadians at Your Library

What will I learn?

Supporting new Canadians at your library?

Come hear what your peers are doing, ask questions, and share ideas!

Three public library professionals from Ontario, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia are gathering to share how their libraries are helping newcomers thrive in their communities.

They'll be talking about all things newcomer:

  • Strategies for outreach to newcomer communities
  • English programming
  • Community-based program ideas to help newcomers make friends and feel at home
  • Ideas for celebrating newcomers' cultures and letting them share at the library
  • As much more as we can cover in 1 hour!

All libraries all welcome, whether you subscribe to Transparent Language Online or not. 🙂
