But also a gateway to an entire culture! "I feel that I have fulfilled my role when I ignite a spark of cultural curiosity, and my students overlook the difficulties of learning a foreign language and become eager and enthusiastic about expanding their knowledge in the target language." A helpful outlook, especially when you're preparing for an overseas move, like her latest student who is in the middle of a 200-hour intensive acquisition course: “I really enjoy the CL-150 platform and the progressive learning of vocabulary. Topics and vocabulary are relevant for daily life, but I really like the in-depth conversations with my instructor about current affairs. I am made accountable for homework and assignments and love the role plays and conversations about French culture.” Bravo, Catherine!
